Tree of Life ("Roots")

Title: Tree of Life ("Roots")
Medium: Drawing on paper, scanned, and coloured on Adobe Photoshop
Dimensions: Original drawing A3 size
Date: Summer 2006
Comments: Inspired by the Rastafarian concept of ‘roots’, as well as the powerful biblical symbol of the Tree of Life, whose roots are in the highest heavens, and whose leaves are for the healingo f the nations. Energies flow down through the Tree’s roots, trunk, branches and leaves. In this way, God’s all-consuming, unimaginable, terrifying energy is transformed into the healing and beneficial forces that sustain our world.

Prints available (max. size A2). Please
